This article analyzes research that builds on successes and lessons learned from previous strategies and incorporates
new initiatives to address emerging needs and challenges. Overall, Uzbekistan’s education sector has made significant
progress in expanding access and improving quality, but there is still work to be done, particularly in terms of student
inclusion and gender equality. Continuous support from the state, strategic planning and international cooperation to further
improve the educational system of Uzbekistan and expand its institutional capabilities for a bright future are of priority.
