Improving the Effective use of Funds From Taxes and Fees in Kashkadarya Region

The Kashkadarya region in Uzbekistan has significant potential for economic growth, which can be realized
through the optimized use of funds from taxes and fees. This article examines the current challenges in fund allocation
and proposes strategies to enhance transparency, accountability, and strategic allocation of resources. Key recommendations
include implementing comprehensive auditing processes, adopting participatory budgeting, and prioritizing
spending on infrastructure, education, healthcare, and support for agriculture and industry. The article also discusses the
challenges of institutional resistance and the need for capacity building. Effective implementation of these strategies can
lead to substantial improvements in the region’s development and set a model for other regions.
